This episode took a more dramatic turn towards Jaime being a true secret agent.
I thought it was odd that Antonio and Jaime were back together again in the office and working on a case with no grievances, after the fight that had in the last episode. But that is TV.
The story-plot of this episode seemed more real and intense than the last 2-3 episodes. I thought that the Al-Quida scenario was a good one to throw into a show about secret agents, in today’s world.
Jaime meets up with a CIA agent who seems to be slated to be in the next episode also, and searches for a microchip with government secrets on it that is being sold to the enemy. Real unique, huh? Sounds like a 1950’s episode of ‘The Green Hornet’ - but as far as this series goes… I think it was the best episode yet.
I am still waiting for this series to pick up a little more and become the series I was hoping it would be. There is so much potential to this show that they haven’t tapped yet. I hope they turn it around soon.

I think this was a pretty good episode. It shows Jaime discovering more of her abilities and it showed Sarah in the role of a possible ally instead of an adversary.
It seems to me that they are dragging out the story of the introduction of Jaime into her Bionic role. I think they could have easily made a 2 our premiere that covered all of this story-line that has transpired so far. So the series is moving a bit slow, but I do like the storyline that is evolving.

The 2nd episode of the series starts off a bit strange. A funeral for Jaime’s fiance, so apparently the character who invented bionics dies after the first episode. Strange. Also, Jaime seems to have forgotten that she told Bledsoe that she would work for him at the end of the previous episode, since she wants to go back to her life and job of bartending in this one. I guess she had a change of heart.
Anyway, I think the episode played well into the series kick-off. Jaime learns a little more about what she can do and how to use her abilities and she finally gets onboard with working for this clandestine company.
I believe that we will see a larger part of this virus that is released in Paradise and kills all these people, some time later in the season. And I wouldn’t be surprised to find the lonesome girl from the town who was the sole survivor pop up again and donate blood for a cure or something. My theory is that Sarah Corvis had something to do with it as well.
Next week’s episode previews shows Sarah and Jaime both fighting and working together. It should be interesting to find out how that ends up.
